The Board of Distinguished Judges & Advisors
The participation and counsel of our judges and advisors – all of whom are leading entrepreneurs in the business community – have helped establish The Ethan Awards as the preeminent awards program. They, their staffs, and other select business leaders will comprise blue ribbon juries that will determine the Ethan Award-winning entries. Entrepreneurs recruited nationwide will accomplish the preliminary judging.
David L. Hancock – the Chief Evangelist for The Entrepreneurial Author and Master Guerrilla Marketer is the founder of Morgan James Publishing. Recognized in 2008 by NASDAQ as one of the world’s most prestigious business leaders. He was also reported to be the future of publishing.
Jay Conrad Levinson – the author of the best-selling marketing series in history, “Guerrilla Marketing,” plus 57 other business books. His books have sold 20 million copies worldwide. And his guerrilla concepts have influenced marketing so much that his books appear in 52 languages and are required reading in MBA programs worldwide.
Rick Frishman – the founder of Planned Television Arts, has been one of the leading book publicists in America for over 30 years. Working with many of the top book editors, literary agents and publishers in America, including Simon and Schuster, Random House, Wiley, Harper Collins, Pocket Books, Penguin Putnam, and Hyperion Books, he has worked with best-selling authors including Mitch Albom, Bill Moyers, Stephen King, Caroline Kennedy, Howard Stern, President Jimmy Carter, Mark Victor Hansen, Nelson DeMille, John Grisham, Hugh Downs, Henry Kissinger, Jack Canfield, Alan Deshowitz, Arnold Palmer, and Harvey Mackay.
Peter Clifton – the co-founder, President and CEO of FiledBy, has more than 25 years experience in the publishing, media and technology industries. Most recently, Peter was President and CEO of several Ingram Book Group companies including Ingram International, Ingram Library Services, Ingram Periodicals and Tennessee Book Company. Prior to Ingram, he was the founding CEO of PubEasy.com, the book industry customer service and transaction portal. Peter was Director of Publicity and Director of New Media Development at John Wiley & Sons, Inc. as well as Vice President of New Media at HarperCollins Publishers, and the Vice President of Business Development at SEGASoft in Redwood City, CA, a SEGA of America subsidiary. Peter has a bachelor’s degree in Fine Art from the University of Massachusetts.
