Roseann approaches writing with a very practical but thoughtful edge creatively designed to both inform and entice readers into the subject matter.  She meticulously familiarizes herself with a diverse range of topics by combining in depth research with her life experience. She carefully creates the form in which the material will appear and then aggressively markets her ideas to traditional and internet publishers.  In order to promote herself and her work, Roseann identifies organizations where her publications can be submitted to contests and potentially win awards.  For example, Roseann’s book “101 Puppy Tips” was a finalist for the Next Generation Indie Award in 2009.  As a result of this entrepreneurial spirit, the book was subsequently promoted at the 2009 Book Expo in New York City.

Roseann’s current major project is a comprehensive book describing worldwide multi-cultural marriage customs.  For this work, she has incorporated a vast amount of research by systematically contacting every country in the world in order to obtain information relating to their traditions on life and marriage.  This cumulative knowledge was used in conjunction with her own life experience of marrying abroad to create an exciting handbook that will prove invaluable not only to those planning a wedding or vow exchange but to those interested in learning about world social traditions.  She has achieved this unique book with an entertaining writing style that makes reading such a reference book truly joyful.  Roseann also designed the wonderful book cover herself conveying themes from her writing into creative art.

Roseann utilizes her unique talent for methodically organizing information and presenting it to the reader in both an enlightening and amusing way.  The end result is subject material that is not only helpful but interesting and enjoyable to read while maintaining noticeable themes throughout her writing.  Her writing brings facts to light in an entertaining fashion providing a rare combination of essential resource and wit.

Roseann finds her inspiration for writing by identifying an area for which she wished she had additional knowledge and understanding prior to her own real life experience about the topic.  She also employs the benefit of hindsight to identify information that may be useful to a situation novice.  To that end, her books provide a practical reference of intensely researched and applied information providing a novel insight into topics that are obviously of interest to the author.

Roseann’s ultimate goal is to generate future quality products that the audience will benefit largely from by either shortening their learning curve or by assisting the intellectually curious to discover interesting aspects of a particular topic.  By the fall of 2010, Roseann will have published her new book “Multi-Cultural Marriage Customs” followed shortly by her first children’s book “Cleo the Working Dog”.  These two books provide the thematic foundation for her future work.

“Multi-Cultural Marriage Customs” will attract a wide audience of readers providing them with endless facts and understanding about worldwide traditions that can be incorporated into their own weddings or vow exchange ceremonies.  The book will allow potential spouses and relatives thereof, especially in America to transport customs which are common in cultures of an individual’s ancestry and background into the ceremony.  This work will also clearly explain the rich history behind many of the well-known and more common wedding traditions.

“Cleo the Working Dog,” a creative, non-fiction children’s picture book, will tell a story of an adorable, industrious, loving dog who is seeking to secure gainful employment.  This book will provide a fun example of perseverance for children, and will be loved by their parents as well, as it touches on difficult economic times and the importance of striving for a purpose in life which is both enjoyable and rewarding.

Roseann plans to continue similar comprehensive non-fiction works on various topics of wide interest including science, world financial markets, real estate, travel, animals, interior design, and art.
